Located in the serene surroundings of Fujinomiya, Tsukasa is a hidden gem cafe that offers an authentic taste of Japanese home-cooked meals. Nestled near the picturesque Shiraito Falls, this charming establishment not only serves delightful dishes but also provides breathtaking views of the majestic Mt. Fuji, making it a perfect stop for both food enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

The atmosphere at Tsukasa is warm and inviting, featuring a cozy, homey decor that reflects its family-run essence. It's the kind of place where you can sit and enjoy your meal while soaking in the tranquility of the surrounding greenery, far from the hustle and bustle of more commercial establishments.

Guests rave about Tsukasa’s generous portions and hearty flavors, particularly the yakisoba—a stir-fried noodle dish that is a hit among diners. The reviews speak to its generous serving sizes; Kenji Nes Corpuz notes, "Good food with a good view of Mt. Fuji," highlighting the café's ability to combine excellent cuisine with stunning scenery. Julian Wong describes Tsukasa as a "simple family restaurant with good Japanese food," emphasizing its authenticity and homey feel. While the staff primarily speaks Japanese, guests find the experience charming and manageable with a quick translation app.

If you're in the mood for comfort food, the pork curry rice is a must-try, as recommended by a satisfied customer, Jayden, who praises the dish as "very nice." Even though the karaage (Japanese fried chicken) may have had some mixed reviews regarding doneness, overall, you’ll find that Tsukasa prioritizes comfort and quality.

The cafe's proximity to Shiraito Falls makes it an ideal refreshment stop after a day of exploring. There’s something special about enjoying a meal here after witnessing the natural beauty of the waterfalls—a perfect way to relax and recharge.

In conclusion, Tsukasa is not just a cafe; it is a delightful culinary retreat that offers a slice of authentic Japanese culture and cuisine. Whether you're indulging in yakisoba or savoring the views, each visit promises a memorable and rewarding experience that will linger long after your last bite.

A simple family restaurant with good Japanese food. The service lady can only speak Japanese so use translation.

Home-y dine in place next to the bus stop for Shiraito Falls, looked like a family-run restaurant. Surrounded by greenery and quiet, the meal was a pleasant change from the hustle and bustle of busier and more commercial restaurants in the city. The friendly woman who served us spoke little English, but nothing a quick gogole translate can't manage. The yakisoba portions were generous, though the karaage we ordered on the side was a little overcooked. Overall, the food wasn't exceptional, but would recommend for the atmosphere and service.
